Another year has flown by. Scharz was behind Julia, who was behind Julia’s daughter and the renovation of the house. The good news is that AI has advanced to such an extent that this year it will be easier to complete the game in terms of rules and graphics, even with a significantly smaller time investment. So let’s see where that leads. Seen from a distance, Scharz is more of a system by board game standards. A blessing for strategists, hell for normal people. But what other non-digital game would you give to a 10-year-old child, military academy students, and seasoned wargame professionals? Originality, depth, and endless replayability. It’s a shame about my incompetence in other areas. Nevertheless, I believe that Scharz still has a future ahead of it.
All the best for the new year, and may you live long and prosper.
